At Linkedist, we believe that employee voices – when clear, confident, and well-supported – are one of the most powerful tools in employer branding.
That’s exactly why we were excited to partner with SEB Lithuania – one of the region’s leading financial institutions—on a 9-month Employee Ambassadorship Program aimed at empowering their business ambassadors to show up more confidently and consistently on LinkedIn.
Through a series of monthly workshops, we covered everything from personal branding and profile optimization to content structure, copywriting techniques, and current platform trends –equipping ambassadors with the skills and confidence to communicate actively and professionally online.
We worked closely with SEB’s Employer Branding team throughout the program to ensure the experience was practical, relevant, and aligned with the company’s tone and communication culture.
The challenge
SEB Lithuania’s ambassadors are experienced professionals working closely with clients in a highly regulated industry. While they had valuable insights to share, communication had to follow strict internal and industry-specific guidelines.
One of the core challenges was finding a balance between being visible and staying compliant – ensuring ambassadors could contribute meaningfully on LinkedIn without disclosing sensitive information or crossing regulatory boundaries.
Another challenge was limited time and competing priorities. Most ambassadors held senior or client-facing positions, making it difficult to consistently engage with LinkedIn. The program needed to be structured yet flexible, offering tools they could immediately apply – without adding pressure or complexity to their already full workloads.
Lastly, there was the matter of confidence and content clarity. For many participants, LinkedIn felt unfamiliar or outside their comfort zone. Our role was to simplify content creation, provide clear tips, and help ambassadors find a communication style that felt both personal and professional.
What we did
To support SEB Lithuania’s ambition to activate its internal voices on LinkedIn, we launched a structured, 9-month ambassadorship program tailored specifically to their business environment and communication culture.
Over the course of seven sessions, we guided 14 ambassadors through key aspects of building a strong LinkedIn presence—from personal branding and profile optimization to content creation, copywriting techniques, tools, and trends. Later sessions explored performance tracking, AI tools, and how to adapt to evolving LinkedIn best practices.
The program was built for professionals, not influencers. Ambassadors came from a wide range of senior roles—including Head of Real Estate Finance, Senior Economist, Head of FX Trading, Senior Analyst, and Client Executive—and each session was designed to be practical, relevant, and easy to apply.
Rather than producing content for them, we focused on education and enablement. Ambassadors were encouraged to experiment with their voice, test different content angles, and post at their own pace between sessions. Our role was to provide structure, guidance, and momentum—without forcing a one-size-fits-all approach.
Results
By the end of the program, SEB Lithuania’s ambassadors had not only grown more confident on LinkedIn—they had also generated real, measurable impact.
Together, the ambassadors reached over 500,000 organic impressions on LinkedIn. One participant alone collected more than 180,000 impressions, while several others consistently achieved between 10,000 and 70,000.
Beyond the numbers, we saw a visible shift in how ambassadors approached LinkedIn:
They were more intentional, more consistent, and more comfortable showing up in a way that reflected both their expertise and SEB’s values.
And most importantly—they did it in their own voice.
