Hello dear reader,
The summer has almost passed! Since it’s coming to an end, we’re here to help you get ready and started with your LinkedIn communication. This month, we will discuss how companies can stand out on LinkedIn from their competitors.
People
This month, Patrick Bates, CEO of CoHo and 4V Films, shares some key points on how companies can ensure their content stands out in the diverse LinkedIn feed. We interviewed him on his valuable expertise gathered through his years of working with various clients.
How can companies catch your eye on LinkedIn?
Here are some brief bullet points that work for us and our clients:
- Understand your audience persona deeply (conduct regular interviews, gather insights, and develop your points).
- Find a balance between educating and entertaining. Think ‘what would be helpful’ to know instead of just ‘valuable’.
- Dedicate regular time in the calendar to content creation to ensure consistency. This should be non-negotiable.
- Prioritize quality over quantity. You’ll be remembered more for the level of value and quality you leave behind.
- Authentic storytelling always wins.
- Understand content creation techniques used by professionals (filming and editing).
- Remember to interact and engage regularly with your audience.
Tip of the Month
This month, we are sharing some essential tips for companies to utilize on LinkedIn to ensure the best results for their content.
📍 Notify employees. Every time you post, make sure to hover over the three dots in the upper right corner and click “Notify employees.” By doing this, you invite all of your employees to engage with the post, amplifying its reach.
📍 Use your invitation credits every month! Each month, you get 250 free credits to invite others to follow your company page. If the person follows, you get your credit back.
📍 Always tag relevant people in text and pictures. This ensures that they will be notified of your post but also helps to include their audience to see the post as well.
📍 Add all the relevant company page sections. From our experience, a lot of companies forget to add a lead gen form and workplace module. In addition, if your company has B2B products, you can display them in your profile's "Products" section.
📍 Track your analytics! Click on the analytics page and find out what your audience enjoys the most by analyzing used content types and tracking data of engagement spikes throughout the week.
Watch your company page grow and elevate your presence on LinkedIn. 🚀
