How can marketing and sales join forces on LinkedIn to create a dynamic business synergy?

I firmly believe remarkable results can be achieved when aligning marketing and sales efforts and leveraging LinkedIn's capabilities. Here're some key aspects I would recommend every company to consider:

  1. The first step is refining shared goals that contribute to your business growth. Whether it's increasing brand awareness, generating leads, or driving conversions, your shared objectives set the stage for collaboration.
  2. Secondly, by combining marketing's audience expertise with sales' customer insights, you can identify our ideal target audience on LinkedIn. This will empower you to create compelling content that resonates with your target audience's needs and interests.
  3. Lastly, using the ultimate weapons such as LinkedIn's Sales Navigator, LinkedIn advertising, simply providing tailored content and messaging, participating in industry discussions, and building a solid personal brand on LinkedIn will keep your leads engaged and help the company achieve remarkable results.

I think ABM (Account-Based Marketing) could be perfect for creating a dynamic business synergy.

Here are a couple of steps to follow:

1. Select the Top 50-100 accounts (companies) you want to speak to.

2. Prospect 2-3 stakeholders per account and launch cold outreach campaigns using emails and LinkedIn as your channels (don’t forget about cold calling as well, it’s not DEAD! :))

3. Then, your marketing team could use this data to run LinkedIn ad campaigns on the exact people your company is trying to connect with.

That way, it’s almost impossible that your prospects won’t notice you at least once. Running ad campaigns on LinkedIn might be costly, so your teams should join forces to maximize the effectiveness.

IMPORTANT! Make sure your customers are active on LinkedIn in the first place, as you'll be wasting money otherwise.
