Overview

We partnered with OSS in May 2020, a company offering unique services in the welding and pipeline industry. OSS had an existing LinkedIn presence but was looking to grow its followers, improve brand awareness, and strengthen its employer branding to attract both talent and clients. Our work with OSS is ongoing, and over the past 5.5 years, we’ve been instrumental in creating content that connects with their target audience.

The Challenge

OSS faced the challenge of communicating its specialized services to a broader LinkedIn audience. As a niche industry player, it was essential for OSS to both educate the market and showcase their unique offerings while maintaining a balance between business promotion and engaging content. Their presence was relatively small at the start, with just around 600 followers, and their LinkedIn needed a strong push to generate more engagement, followers, and leads.

What We Did

To meet OSS's goals, we took a multifaceted approach to content creation, profile optimization, and ad campaigns.

  • Content Creation: We created engaging posts, including welding photos that helped OSS stand out in a typically corporate-heavy LinkedIn environment. The visual appeal of the photos and their relevance to the services offered drew a positive response from the audience.

  • Ad Campaigns: We ran 8 ad campaigns that targeted potential clients and employees, generating 99,043 impressions.

  • Profile Optimization: We revamped the LinkedIn profile to ensure it clearly communicated OSS's offerings while aligning with industry best practices.

  • Job Posts: We also worked on crafting attractive job posts that highlighted OSS's employer branding and attracted talent.

  • Additional services: As part of this collaboration, we also supported a website update to ensure consistency across all digital touchpoints, although this falls outside our standard service scope.

Results

Over the past year, OSS has seen significant growth in both their online presence and engagement:

  • Followers: OSS's followers grew from 600 to over 4,000, with 1,095 new followers in the last year alone.

  • Posts & Impressions: In the past 12 months, OSS posted 109 times, reaching a total of 348,915 impressions.

  • Ad Impact: With an ad spend of €1,781.58, the ad campaigns generated a notable 99,043 impressions.

  • Website Traffic: The increased brand visibility also resulted in 3,345 page visitors over the last year, boosting OSS's online presence significantly.

Through these efforts, OSS is now recognized as a more visible and attractive employer on LinkedIn, with enhanced brand awareness that is now more easily recognizable in their industry. The company’s unique approach to sharing its services and behind-the-scenes looks into their projects has fostered meaningful engagement and an authentic connection with their target audience.
